Hello!  My name is Mike Kumley.  I am a self taught artist from the Driftless region in Wisconsin.

I love the outdoors and travel and take a lot of inspiration from the places I have lived and explored.  

 

Landscapes and animals are a favorite.  I tend to be drawn to earthy hues and the vast beauty and randomness of skies and clouds. 

​

My favorite medium is Soft Pastels. I also enjoy working with Graphite Pencil, Acrylics, Watercolors and Alcohol Ink.

Currently I am a Texas based artist and an active member of Rockwall Art League, Artists 'Round Texas, Richardson Civic Art Society, and Pastel Society of Southeast Texas.
