Terms

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and color. The image you see online may show a difference in color due to variations between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

Payments are taken through Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Wallet in U.S. dollars. We do not store any of your debit/credit card, Apple Pay or Google Wallet details. Artwork will be shipped when payment is received in full.

Orders:

​

Original paintings will be packed and shipped within 5 working days of order and payment in full unless they are a part of a current exhibit where the date of shipping or pick up may be limitied to the ending date of the show.  If in an exhibit, art will be shipped no later than 5 days from exhibit end date.   Please allow 7-14 working days in total. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

Cost of shipping?

The cost of shipping within the Continental United States will be based on weight and size of the framed artwork.  Currently Mike Kumley Art is limited to the Continental United States.  If you are from another location and would like any art or prints shipped to you, please reach out to us to to see if available and additional costs that may occur at mikekumleyart@gmail.com

 

Can you ship internationally?

At this time, shipping is limited to Continental US.  If you are from another country and would like any art or prints shipped to you, please reach out to us to to see if your location is available and what additional costs and shipping that would occur. 

 

How will my painting be wrapped?

Artwork will be carefully packaged to ensure items are received in pristine condition. Each one is unique so I take care that it is well packaged and that it arrives in perfect condition.

 

Returns?  What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?

I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork.

​

If a painting is not as you expect, you have 15 days from date of order to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Return shipping costs are at your expense. Once the piece has been safely returned in original condition, I will refund your original payment within 7 days of artwork receipt.

What if my painting arrives damaged?

All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days and document the damage with photos.

FAQ

 

Will my painting look exactly like the photos?

​

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and color. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and such inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return. Pay close attention to description of painting regarding size, materials, etc.

Are your paintings framed?

​

If a painting has been exhibited as framed, it is normally sold with the frame. 

Artwork in store will be clearly marked framed if the item is sold already framed. Most works on paper include a white mat with the painting.  This excludes fine art prints.  Any questions regarding framing of a specific piece, may be directed to mikekumleyart@gmail.com before purchase.

 

I always indicate whether a painting is framed or not in my written description of the work. You’ll also be able to see photos of it framed and unframed in the product gallery. When a painting is meant to be sold framed, the frame is already included in the price.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?

Yes if you are in the Dallas area, select arranged delivery on checkout.  Complete the purchase and then send me an email at mikekumleyart@gmail.com where we can work out a time and place to meet.

What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our website?
When ordering or commenting on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, credit card information or other details to help you with your experience.

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, or enter information on our site using a comment or contact form.

How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you in the following ways:

  • To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.

  • To improve our website in order to better serve you.

  • To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests

  • To quickly process your transactions.

  • To follow up with them after correspondence (live chat, email or phone inquiries).

  • Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

 

How do we protect your information?
Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order to maintain the safety of your personal information.

 

All financial transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

How long do we keep your information?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically. Customer purchase records are kept for a minimum of 6 years to comply with legal requirements.

What rights do you have over your data?
You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Do we use ‘cookies’?
Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

While you visit our site, we’ll track:
• Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.


If you turn cookies off it will turn off some of the features of the site.

Third-party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information.

Occasionally, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Please see the Paypal policy for more details.

Privacy
Once this privacy policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page or as a minimum, on the first significant page after entering our website.
Our Privacy Policy link includes the word ‘Privacy’ and can easily be found on the page specified above.
You will be notified of any Privacy Policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page.
You can change or review your personal information by emailing us at lauriehuff.studio@gmail.com or using the update option at the bottom of every email.

We collect your email address in order to:
• Send information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions
• Process orders and to send information and updates pertaining to orders.
• Send you additional information related to your product and/or service
• Market to our mailing list or continue to send emails to our clients after the original transaction has occurred.


We agree to the following:
• Not use false or misleading subjects or email addresses.
• Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.
• Include the physical address of our business or site headquarters.
• Monitor third-party email marketing services for compliance, if one is used.
• Honour opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly.
